The Donkeys and Traditions excursion is an interactive journey that satisfies all senses and entertains both adults and children. Visitors have the opportunity to see how the traditional Cypriot cheese, halloumi, and olive pie are made, followed by a tour of the farm to see one of the oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean and learn about the history and characteristics of donkeys.
The tour ends with a tasting of the farm’s products, including donkey milk and skin care products, as well as organic olive oil. The final part of the excursion includes a meal, plenty of wine, and lively entertainment with Cypriot dances and music. The tour will begin with hotel pickups from Protaras and Ayia Napa before we hit the highway to the farm in Larnaca, during your transfer you will receive refreshments such as water and fruit packs.
Sample the Cypriot lifestyle with this evening experience. In the countryside surrounds of a donkey sanctuary, you'll get hands-on in halloumi-making and bread baking and tuck into the tasty results. Then, when the sun sets, you'll dine on a feast of local dishes with free-flowing drinks, followed by live music and Cypriot dancing under the stars. Meet a menagerie of animals, learn how halloumi is made and see traditional bread being baked, eat a feast of local dishes including skewered meat known as souvla and roasted lamb kleftiko (vegetarian and vegan options available) with unlimited wine and water is
